Here is a detailed guide on how to fix the 'PIN Error' & 'Network Anamoly' errors on your Viewsonic Viewboard. Let's get started!
Step 1: After powering on your Viewboard and you're at the homepage, you're going to want to tap the dots in the circle in the bottom-right of your screen, like so:
Step 2: In the window that pops up, you'll then want to tap the 'Settings' icon.
Step 3: You'll now be greeted with the screen pictured below. From here, you'll want to tap 'Storage' under the 'Device' section.
Step 4: Now tap 'Apps (app data and media content)'.
Step 5: Now this is where it might get a little confusing. On some Viewboards, there will only be one vBoard/vCastReceiver option, while on most Viewboards, you should have both. Don't be alarmed if you only have one; that doesn't mean anything bad.
Step 6: After tapping on either vCastReceiver or vBoard, you'll now simply tap 'Clear Data'. Please note: you'll want to do this step for both vCastReceiver and vBoard. Again, if you only have one on your Viewboard, you'll only have to do this for your one option.
Step 7: And you're done! Thank you for your patience in going through this guide and you should now be able to connect to your Viewboard without any problems! Yay!
(OPTIONAL) Step 8: In the event that you're still unable to connect to your Viewboard after following all of the steps above, there's one extra step you can try to make sure you've covered all of your bases. At the home screen for your Viewboard, you can tap the 'Wireless' icon in the bottom-left of your screen. From there, you can tap & hold on the wireless network you're currently connected to, tap 'Forget Network' and reconnect to the same network. This refreshes the connection on the Viewboard's end to make sure there's nothing else funky going on in the background.
