Here is a quick tutorial on how to adjust your notification settings so you don't get bothered by unwanted pop-ups.
Step 1: On your desktop, in the bottom-right of your screen, click on the notification bubble and then click on 'Manage notifications' in the top-right of your screen when the window slides out as shown below.
Step 2: In the new window that opens up, you can adjust settings to your personal needs. You can also scroll down the page and you'll see that you can individually turn off and on any notifications that are present on your computer.
