The copiers in the PHS Teacher Work Room have now been configured for Job Accounting and will require the use of a PIN to make copies or to print. Please see the site Secretary for your PIN if you do not know your PIN or if you forgot yours. Let's begin:
Step 1: Click in the Windows Search box on the bottom-left of your screen and type printer. You'll then want to click on 'Printers & Scanners', as shown in the image below:
Step 2: Now you're going to want to locate the two printers that are located in the Teacher Work Room. They should be named 'PHS-TWRLeft-PTR' and 'PHS-TWRRight-PTR' respectively. Once you find them, when you click on them, a little contex menu will show up, like this:
Click on the 'Manage' button.
Step 3: In the new window that pops up, you're going to want to click on 'Printer Properties'.
Step 4: In the Printer Properties menu, click on the 'Device Settings' tab, as shown:
Step 5: Click the 'Administrator' button:
Step 6: In the new window that opens, you're going to want to click the 'Job Accounting' tab:
Step 7: Ok, we're almost done. You going to want to tick the box that says 'Job Accounting' and enter your PIN that was issued to you to be able to print. You will enter your unique PIN in the box under 'Use specific account ID'.
Step 8: You're done! You can click all the 'Ok" buttons to close all the windows that we opened up to save all the changes we made. You are now able to print from the two printers in the Teacher Workroom! Repeat these exact steps to set-up the other printer, if you wish to use both printers. You should only have to do this process once, just to set everything up. After that, you can print as much as you need without having to do this process again.
