Research Tool
If you want to find information from the around the web to use in your documents and presentations, you can use the Research tool.
Within an open document or presentation do one of the following:
- Go to the Tools menu > Research
- Use the keyboard shortcut:
Ctrl + ⌘ + Shift + I on a Mac
Ctrl + Alt + Shift + I on a PC
- Right-click on a specific word and select Research
- The Research tool will appear along the
right-hand side
- Start a search by typing into the search bar
- You can narrow your search to specific types of results (e.g. images, quotations) by using the drop-down menu in the search bar
- The Research tool allows you to insert article citations, edit and insert maps that are part of the search result, insert quotes with a footnote citation, insert videos, and more
